Fair trade Projekt der 4d

Fairtrade is an organisation which has many members and has become quite famous over the years. Among other activities, it supports small farms so that working conditions improve a lot. Fairtrade products carry a logo and are a bit more expensive. This is because workers get their well-deserved pay.

We did a project on Fairtrade two weeks ago. First, we had to choose a Fairtrade product, then we had to create a poster which we had to present to our classmates. We learned a lot about honey, sugar, fruit juices, bananas, chocolate, coffee, wine, spices, and tea. We were allowed to taste various products. We think we have all learned something new and that we now have an idea how serious the situation in some countries is.
